I am so very blessed and fortunate to have a fabulous Team traveling this Stampin’ Up! journey with me. Wait until you see the gorgeous cards in our Annual Catalog WOW Team Card Swap. We had a small group this time, but oh my, their talent and creativity blew me away. The main guideline was to use a new catalog set. My team members, Nancy Sanders, Molly Downing, Dawn Galland and Lisa Lepine joined me in this swap.
First up we have Nancy’s lovely card. Nancy can be found on Facebook at Stampin’ on Sanders’ Pond. Her card showcases the Rooted in Nature bundle. I love that she gold embossed the vellum leaves for that added touch of texture and glitz.
Nancy loves nature and something told me she was going to chose this bundle for our WOW Team Swap this time. Her card base is Mint Macaron and layered with the gorgeous Nature’s Poem DSP. The beautiful accent band in Copper Foil and Nature’s Poem DSP is the perfect backdrop for her focal image.
Next, we have Molly Downing. Molly blogs at Creating Memories with Molly. She is an avid scrapbooker and lucky for us creates beautiful cards rich in techniques as well. Molly chose the Abstract Impressions set. The colors are so bright and vibrant and I love all the layers.
She made sure to stamp the envelope to match. Don’t you just love the way she layered the focal image, tucking in those flowers and embellishments.
Dawn Galland created our next card. She used the Sea of Textures Bundle. WOW, what a fantastic fold and color palette.
The little cluster of die cuts is fantastic. I especially love the way she inked and highlighted those sweet sand dollars. The peek-a-boo effect on the card front reveals the sentiment, so cute!
Last, but certainly not least, is my newest team member, Lisa Lepine. Lisa hopped onto the WOW Team Card Swap to fill in for another team member and knocked it out the park. She’s only been with the team about a month and hit the ground running. Lisa chose the Love What You Do stamp set, Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper and the Garden Impressions DSP.
She used glossy white paper for her stamping surface and her color blending is fabulous. But she didn’t stop there, the inside of the card is just as lovely as the outside.
I’ve already highlighted my card in a previous blog post. But here is a photo in case you didn’t see that one. I used the Serene Garden Bundle as a starting point, but incorporated lots of other new sets and techniques as well.
I can’t wait for our next swap. Hoping more of my WOW Team Members can join in the fun next time. I think it is fabulous, sharing what we love to do with each other. Until next time, Create Something Beautiful!
