Sending a handmade card is a gift in itself and you can do it too! Simple stamping is quick, easy and you don’t need many supplies. Using only stamps, ink and paper, I created this lovely card. Creating a stack of these will be a breeze and I’m here to show you how.
Ok, I know this might seem difficult, but I’m here to let you know it’s truly simple and quick. I think sometimes we forget that all we need to create beautiful handmade cards is stamps, ink and paper. In this simple stamping project that’s all I used. The gorgeous Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper was the inspiration.
All the Stampin’ Up! packages have a “cheat sheet” on the back. It lists all the colors used in that paper. What a great starting point in choosing a color palette. My color combo for my simple stamping experience was Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow.
Healing Hugs is one of our DistINKtive sets. What does that mean? You can achieve a fabulous tonal image in one stamping. The highlights and lowlights are designed in the stamp itself. Pretty awesome, don’t you think?
Another simple technique is what’s referred to as fussy cutting. All you need is a pair of paper snips. You remember the days of paper dolls or kindergarten class projects? That’s how I cut out that gorgeous rose and leaves.
I would love to show you up close and personal how truly simple stamping can be. And how I created this beautiful card. Here’s my FREE video tutorial, hope you enjoy it.
