WOW, how can you not help but love all that texture?  The faux linen starts off with a piece of tissue paper.  You know, the tissue paper you use when wrapping a present.  I get mine at the Dollar Tree, no need for anything expensive, because you are going to alter it. Next you’ll need a silicone craft mat and your Stampin’ Blends. I used the combo packs of both Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss.

And voila, you can create backgrounds like this one.  Each will be it’s own unique creation, I love that. It’s tough to see in the photo but it also has some sparkle.  I activated the Stampin’ Blends that were scribbled onto the silicone craft mat with a spritzer filled with 4/5 drops of Champagne Shimmer Paint and 70% rubbing alcohol.

The faux linen made the perfect backdrop for the lovely image from the Country Home stamp set.  Don’t you love the way they incorporated an artichoke in the floral arrangement.  I think it was brilliant. I used the Stampin’ Blends to color the image so that it would coordinate perfectly with my newly created background.

Even better yet, you can color your own Basic Pearls any color you like using our Stampin’ Blends.  They are alcohol based and the color will stay where you put it.  FANTASTIC!!
