First, visit your local Dollar Tree. There are sooooo many cute candies you can dress up and make fancy. The cute little jar and M&M Holder were Dollar Tree finds.  The cello bag is a Stampin’ Up! product and they are food safe. Because we sell those in packs of 25, it makes gift giving economical.

OMG, this one is so quick and easy and takes minimal supplies.  I used the Labels to Love stamp set for my sentiment. I stamped on Whisper White cardstock, then punched with he 1 3/4″ circle punch. To add a little bit of fancy, I punched a starburst from our gorgeous Vellum cardstock.

That gorgeous ribbon is our Lovely Lipstick stitched ribbon. It ties so pretty and is super soft. You can add any little tag, but this one is a die cut from our Bouquet Bunch dies.

The super beautiful Lovely Lipstick foil paper makes this treat extra special. The treat bag is our 3″ x 6″ gusseted bag. And the foil paper was cut to 3″ x 3 1/2″ and run through the Big Shot with the Tufted Embossing Folder. If you would like to see me create any or all of these Valentine Treats, visit my Facebook WOW NOLA Creations page.  I went LIVE, Sunday, January 13, 2019 and created each of these during the broadcast.

So Hoppy Valentine Treat

So Hoppy Valentine Treat

I’m always on the lookout for cute Valentine treats. Well, when I was browsing the Dollar Tree, I came across the cutest little chocolate frog. Immediately, I thought about the So Hoppy Together stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration brochure. That little critter would make a stinkin’ cute So Hoppy Valentine Treat!

OMG, isn’t this the cutest thing EVER?  I featured this project on my last Facebook Live. Be sure to join me on Sunday evenings at 7pm (CST) where I share what I love. Everyone that tuned in, asked if I would create a blog post for my So Hoppy Valentine Treat. So, here you go.

Stampin’ Up! is so on trend. There are little frog related items in every store around. Finding my chocolate treat was the first step, then I had to add all the “pretties” to make him special. I needed a frame for this little guy and our new Rectangle Stitched Framelits came in handy. Did you notice the heart he is holding? It reads “Toadilly Yours”.

Because I stamped the frog in Memento Tuxedo Black I was able to use our light and dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to give him some color. It’s really quick and easy coloring.

The Happy Valentine’s sentiment from the Meant to Be set, fit perfectly in the heart. That die cut comes from the Be Mine Stitched Hearts. And all those fabulous leaves were die cut with the Tropical  Thinlits set in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce.

Then on the backside of my So Hoppy Valentine Treat I added a tag. I just couldn’t discard the stitched rectangle that came from cutting the window in my frame for the front of the treat holder. You want to create one now, don’t you? Mine are going to my grandchildren. Who’s going to get yours? How about a FREE video tutorial with step by step directions? Here you go!

Here’s how the magic happens.

Quick Valentine Treat Sure Do Love You

Quick Valentine Treat Sure Do Love You

Oh, no, only 12 days before Valentine’s Day and you need some quick and easy Valentine treats that still have the WOW factor.  I’ve got just the project for you. And, they are really economical to boot. These sweet chocolate dipped, caramel covered pretzels are the perfect Valentine treat sure to please everyone’s sweet tooth.

WOW NOLA Creations, Susan Levasseur, Stampin' Up!, Valentine Quick and Easy Treat

I whipped these up in just an hour for the residents at our local nursing home.  They were over the moon thrilled and couldn’t wait to break into these Valentine treats.  They even used some of the elements on this treat holder to incorporate into the door hanger we were there to create.  That gorgeous gold-foiled Painted with Love Specialty DSP made the elements really pop.

Whenever I have to create quick, easy and multiple treats like these, I turn to my punches. Be sure to check out our vast selection on pages 206-208 of the Annual Catalog.  Not to mention, Stampin’ UP! always introduces some new offerings in each seasonal catalog as well.

These treats came from my local Sam’s and here is the packaging in case you want to pick some up.  They averaged out to less than $1 each.  That’s a bargain in my book.

Valentine Decor Stampin’ UP! Style

Valentine Decor Stampin’ UP! Style

I love it when I come across a Dollar Tree find and turn it into a home decor project or gift.  This Valentine decor piece was designed for the Residents at our local nursing home.  We will be visiting them this week and they each get to create with us.  This is a truly rewarding experience. We laugh, create, and share throughout the afternoon.  We’ve made friends with so many of the lovely ladies and gentlemen.

WOW NOLA Creations, Susan Levasseur, Stampin’ UP!, Valentine Decor

The color palette for this piece is Daffodil Delight, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette.  I was amazed how closely our Stampin’ UP! colors matched this sweet little hanger.  I replaced the original ribbon hanger with a 15″ piece of our beautiful Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon.

WOW NOLA Creations, Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Valentine Decor

By punching nine images from Daffodil Delight with the Daisy Punch, I was able to create three of these lovely flowers.  The center was cut from Cherry Cobbler, using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and the faceted gem really makes it pop.  The Leaf Punch is one of my new go-to punches.  I used Always Artichoke and punched six images, two for each flower.

WOW NOLA Creations, Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Valentine Decor

The Sweet and Sassy framelits came in handy to create the trio of hearts.  And I just knew it needed some texture, so I used the Quilt Top Embossing Folder to do that. I love that stitched Daffodil Delight ribbon and thought it added just the right touch to the hearts.

To finish things off, I used the Bow Builder Punch and created the bow from Pink Pirouette card stock.  Be sure to check out my video tutorial and create one of these for someone special in your life.

All products in the video can be found in my online store.  I would appreciate your business.
