First, visit your local Dollar Tree. There are sooooo many cute candies you can dress up and make fancy. The cute little jar and M&M Holder were Dollar Tree finds.  The cello bag is a Stampin’ Up! product and they are food safe. Because we sell those in packs of 25, it makes gift giving economical.

OMG, this one is so quick and easy and takes minimal supplies.  I used the Labels to Love stamp set for my sentiment. I stamped on Whisper White cardstock, then punched with he 1 3/4″ circle punch. To add a little bit of fancy, I punched a starburst from our gorgeous Vellum cardstock.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Valentine Treats, Stampin' Up!

That gorgeous ribbon is our Lovely Lipstick stitched ribbon. It ties so pretty and is super soft. You can add any little tag, but this one is a die cut from our Bouquet Bunch dies.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Valentine Treats, Stampin' Up!

The super beautiful Lovely Lipstick foil paper makes this treat extra special. The treat bag is our 3″ x 6″ gusseted bag. And the foil paper was cut to 3″ x 3 1/2″ and run through the Big Shot with the Tufted Embossing Folder. If you would like to see me create any or all of these Valentine Treats, visit my Facebook WOW NOLA Creations page.  I went LIVE, Sunday, January 13, 2019 and created each of these during the broadcast.

Last, but not least, is the cute little M&M Holder.  You guys have seen these for every occasion under the sun. But, they aren’t very attractive on their own.  Add a little ink, stamps and paper and you have a super cute Valentine Treat sure to WOW anyone!

So Hoppy Valentine Treat

So Hoppy Valentine Treat

I’m always on the lookout for cute Valentine treats. Well, when I was browsing the Dollar Tree, I came across the cutest little chocolate frog. Immediately, I thought about the So Hoppy Together stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration brochure. That little critter would make a stinkin’ cute So Hoppy Valentine Treat!

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, So Hoppy Valentine Treat, Stampin' Up!

OMG, isn’t this the cutest thing EVER?  I featured this project on my last Facebook Live. Be sure to join me on Sunday evenings at 7pm (CST) where I share what I love. Everyone that tuned in, asked if I would create a blog post for my So Hoppy Valentine Treat. So, here you go.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, So Hoppy Valentine Treat, Stampin' Up!

Stampin’ Up! is so on trend. There are little frog related items in every store around. Finding my chocolate treat was the first step, then I had to add all the “pretties” to make him special. I needed a frame for this little guy and our new Rectangle Stitched Framelits came in handy. Did you notice the heart he is holding? It reads “Toadilly Yours”.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, So Hoppy Valentine Treat, Stampin' Up!

Because I stamped the frog in Memento Tuxedo Black I was able to use our light and dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to give him some color. It’s really quick and easy coloring.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, So Hoppy Valentine Treat, Stampin' Up!

The Happy Valentine’s sentiment from the Meant to Be set, fit perfectly in the heart. That die cut comes from the Be Mine Stitched Hearts. And all those fabulous leaves were die cut with the Tropical  Thinlits set in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, So Hoppy Valentine Treat, Stampin' Up!

Then on the backside of my So Hoppy Valentine Treat I added a tag. I just couldn’t discard the stitched rectangle that came from cutting the window in my frame for the front of the treat holder. You want to create one now, don’t you? Mine are going to my grandchildren. Who’s going to get yours? How about a FREE video tutorial with step by step directions? Here you go!

Here’s how the magic happens.

  • Treat Holder Wrap – Blushing Bride CS – two @ 10 3/4″ x 4″ scored on the 10 3/4″ side at 1″.

Halloween Treats

Halloween Treats

Trick or Treat time is just around the corner.  Today, I would like to share with you two super quick and easy Halloween Treats.  Any little ghoul or goblin will be thrilled to receive either one of these.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Halloween Treats, Stampin' Up!

First up, did you know we now have those super cute Baker’s boxes in the Holiday Catalog?  WOW, and they every super easy to put together.  They already have the acetate window and all the scoreline you’ll need.  And they are food safe.  That is the perfect box for your Halloween Treats, whether they are cookies, candies or donuts.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Halloween Treats, Stampin' Up!

To create the spider web doily, for this Halloween Treat, I cut four of the spider webs with the die from the Cauldron set.  Be sure to back your cardstock with our multipurpose adhesive sheets before die cutting.  In that way, you will be creating a sticker that will be very easy to attach to the acetate.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Halloween Treats, Stampin' Up!

I used our gorgeous Swirls and Curls embossing folder on the Gorgeous Grape mats that cover each side of my Halloween Treat.  Our Pearlized Doilies are mat white on one side and very easy to color with any of our inks.  On this one I used Granny Apple Green and voila, a Halloween doily.  I think this Halloween Treat would be perfect for a teacher, your nail technician, hairdresser or postman.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Halloween Treats, Stampin' Up!

I thought while I was designing that I would also design a Halloween Treat perfect for all the kiddos to bring to their classmates.  Or, if you have a neighborhood block party, these would make you look like super Halloween crafter!  But, they are so quick and easy, you’ll whip them out in no time at all.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Halloween Treats, Stampin' Up!

I used the Toil and Trouble DSP to dress up the front of the treat holder.  The cut little detail on the top edge of the Halloween Treat holder was created with our Tag Topper Punch. And did you notice that Spider Trinket on the bow?  Yes, we sell those.  Would you like to see how easy these are to create.  I would love to share my FREE video tutorial with you.

Quick Easy Bunny Treat Holders

Quick Easy Bunny Treat Holders

Time to create some Easter treats, bunny style. My grandkids love to give out Nana Happies for every occasion.  Sometimes, our schedules are such that we need to create a quick and simple project, that still packs a bang.  A Good Day stamp set was my jumping off point and made this project cute, quick, and easy.

Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Bunny Treat Holder, A Good Day

I needed to create forty bunny happies and I had a limited amount of time. But, I still wanted them all to be cute and multi-layered with some texture, not to mention special for my grandkids.  How was I going to accomplish that?  Then it hit me, mass production made easy!  By incorporating a few tips and tricks that I’ll share with you in my video tutorial I created and put these together in one afternoon.

Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Bunny Treat Holder, A Good Day

See, I told you that I needed to make forty of these guys. My grandson loves orange, so the ribbon had to be Calypso Coral.  While my granddaughter loves bling, those rhinestones in the little flowers are all about her and I changed the ribbon color to lemon lime twist.

Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Bunny Treat Holder, A Good DayDid you notice that awesome basket weave pattern?  You can earn the Basket Weave embossing folder FREE with a qualifying Sale-a-Bration order. Not only that, the FREE bundle includes a lovely stamp set.  Place a $100 order in my online store an choose the Blooming Basket Bundle as your FREE item and you’ll receive the stamp set and embossing folder.  One of the best parts of this deal is that the embossing folder will carryover to our new Annual Catalog.  What does that mean?  I’m sure Stampin’ UP! has designed another gorgeous stamp set to go with it.

Susan Levasseur, Stampin' UP!, Bunny Treat Holder, A Good Day

If you don’t have the A Good Day stamp set, you just gotta add it to your cart.  You’ll also want to add the two coordinating scallop punches.  That way you can create all kinds of embellishments for all your projects.

I promised you some tips and tricks.  In this video tutorial I’ll show you how quick and easy mass production of this project happens.

I’ll bet you’re dying to get these done.  Here’s how the magic happens.

  • Treat Holder – Daffodil Delight CS – each holder is 2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored on the 8 1/2″ side at 3 7/8″ and 4 5/8″.  But, if you are mass producing these, I’ve got a tip to make that quick and easy in my video tutorial above.
  • Focal Image – Berry Burst CS – punch one from the Pretty Label punch; Calypso Coral CS – punch one from the 1 3/8″ scallop circle punch; Whisper White CS – on a scrap, stamp the bunny image from “A Good Day” stamp set in Early Espresso and punch with the 1 1/4″ circle punch.

      Wood Crate Easter Treat

      Wood Crate Easter Treat

Is it Spring yet?  I sure hope that season is truly around the corner.  Seems like this winter has been a tough one for everyone. Let’s create this sweet Wood Crate Bunny Treat together to kick things off.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Stampin' Up!, Wood Crate Easter TreatIsn’t he just the cutest thing EVER?  Our little bunny was create with a technique referred to as punch art.  All the little elements were punched from various punches and one die set to make this little guy come to life.  Attaching him to the Wood Crate completed this little Easter treat.  His ears were cut with the layering ovals dies, while the remaining elements were punched as follows.

      • Eyes – Basic Black CS – punch 2 using the 1/2″ circle punch
      • Face – Whisper White CS – punch 1 using the 2″ circle punch
      • Checks – Whisper White CS – punch 2 using the 1/2″ circle punch
      • Nose – Powder Pink CS – punch 1 heart – I did use a small retired punch but any from your stash will do.
      • Tongue – Powder Pink CS – punch 1 using the 1/2″ circle punch
      • Bow Tie – Sweet Soiree DSP – Punch two sets of images from the Bow Builder Punch
      • Be sure to very lightly ink all the Whisper White images and the DSP in Smoky Slate.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Stampin' Up!, Wood Crate Easter Treat

To highlight the eyes, I used a white gel pen, but a chalk marker would work as well.  Don’t you think that little bit of highlighting brought those eyes to life?

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Stampin' Up!, Wood Crate Easter Treat

And of course our little Wood Crate needed a tag.  The Wood Crate Framelits Dies come with not only the die for the crate, but some elements to dress it up and it all coordinates with the Wood Words stamp set.  Thanks, Stampin’ Up!  The little “for you” was stamped in Marina Mist on Whisper White and die cut with the cute tag die.

Silver Gable Boxes Happy Birthday Style

Silver Gable Boxes Happy Birthday Style

If you’re like me, gift presentation is a big deal.  But, these sweet silver gable boxes make that a breeze. They are silver foil, food safe and come twelve to a package.  So, that’s economical, pretty and easy.  What could be better?

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Silver Gable Boxes, Stampin' UP!

The absolutely gorgeous silver foiled Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP was a perfect way to start this project.  Silver foiling adds a textured look to the handprinted designs.  There are 12 sheets in the package, 12″ x 12″, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs.

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Silver Gable Boxes, Stampin' UP!

Designing with Stampin’ UP! products is a pleasure.  Why?  Everything coordinates, taking that part of the equation out of the picture.  Look at that lovely Whisper White Metallic Edge Ribbon.  One of the best features of this ribbon is that it is neutral.  But, if you need it in a color, just break out a Stampin’ Blend and color it and voila, you have that color but it will maintain the metallic edge. Sweet!!

Susan Levasseur, WOW NOLA Creations, Silver Gable Boxes, Stampin' UP!

I love it when Stampin UP! offers a coordinating punch to a stamp set.  It’s a marriage made in heaven, the Duet Banner Punch and Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set.  That’s what I used to create that super cute silver embossed celebrate banner.

Would you like to create this silver gable box right along with me?  Just click the video and we’ll do just that.

I hope you enjoyed my video tutorial.  Be sure to subscribe to my channel and hit the little bell under the video so that you receive notifications when I publish the next one.
