I’m so happy that the stamp set includes both line art images and beautiful sentiments. You’ll be making cards in no time flat. Be sure to add to your Stampin’ Blends collection so that you can create flowers in your favorite colors.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, fancy folds are easy. All you have to do is break it down step by step. I love challenging myself to learn something new. Make 2022 the year where you will try it too. The inside pop-up mechanism really is easy. Here’s a template that shows the scoring and trimming.
When it’s all decked out and decorated you’ve got yourself a one of kind design. Who is that special someone on list that would love to receive this card?
All the pretty accent die-cuts are from either the Flowers of Hope or Eden die sets. Don’t forget your Wink of Stella, it always adds just the right sparkle.
By creating all this dimension, you can really show off the designer series paper as well as your stamping skills.
But a card like this, really needs a box envelope for presentation. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Here’s a template to use when creating your envelope.
But of course I’ve created a FREE video tutorial for you. Just click this link to head over to my YouTube Channel. And since we are celebrating a new year, I’ve got a special treat for you. I’m writing this post on a very gloomy, cold December morning. And yes, a Daffodil Daydream is swimming in my head. I’m so excited to share today’s card with you. It features lots of new product in the upcoming January-June Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs. Both publications will launch January 4, 2022.
Springtime is right around the corner and dancing daffodils will be visible soon. I couldn’t stop smiling while creating this card. It made me think of this quote. “Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful, they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” – Luther Burbank
The Daffodil Daydream bundle features a 7-piece cling stamp set with a 24-piece die set. Pick up this bundle in my online store and you can choose the fabulous Daffodil Afternoon DSP for FREE!
This paper has dramatic, bold botanicals on one side and a more neutral pattern on the reverse. For my card, I decided to use that bold collage pattern as a backdrop for my daffodil.
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE word dies. And the “Amazing Thanks” die set is no exception. Did you notice the shadowing effect? The dies are part of the Amazing Silhouettes bundle. Word combinations include, thanks, thank you, amazing you, and you are amazing. The stamp set has beautiful watercolor wash images.
But in my humble opinion, the Daffodil Daydream bundle is the star of this show.
I’ve got lots of ideas of how to use those intricate dies to create 3D daffodils with leaves and stems and so much more. Be sure to stay tuned. For now, let’s get back to today’s project.
Have you started your Stampin’ Blends collection? The Stampin’ Up! Blends are a fabulous coloring medium and will have you looking like an artist before you know it. To color my glorious daffodil, I’ve used Daffodil Delight (of course) and Mossy Meadow.
Don’t waste a smidge of that beautiful paper. I’ve used my scraps to cut the two bitty butterflies on the inside of the card. And did you notice that sentiment inside the card? Be sure to check out the fabulous sentiment set you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-Bration. Break out that brochure and turn to page 14 for the Special Moments stamp set. By placing a $100 order, you can earn this 21-piece set for your very own.
What an amazing set! Sentiments for all occasions and in fonts that will match any style. Ready to see this new goodies in action?

WOW, right? Let’s see if you can guess which one I had to play with first. I’ll give you a couple of hints. First, I love a product that can be used in lots of different ways. Second, anything rose gold, I just melt. I’ll bet you guessed it. It’s that fabulous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Because the Parisian Beauty set is so fabulous, I paired that bundle with this gorgeous new paper right off the bat.
By using my sponge brayer, I was able to add color to the Flowering Foils DSP. I love the Blushing Bride, Basic Gray color combo.
Once you add the color, be sure to buff the surface with a clean, dry paper towel. That will really make the foiling pop. This sheet has silver foiling, perfect for that Basic Gray card base.
Don’t you just love that sentiment? Perfect for lots of occasions.
But, remember, this beautiful foil paper is only one of the five new FREE products in the 2020 2nd Sale-a-Bration Release. I think this one will go fast. Be sure to add it to your first order, March 3rd.
How do you like all that dimension? It’s easy because Stampin’ Up! products all coordinate. No more searching for the perfect ribbon or embellishent.
Don’t forget to dress up those envelopes. You’ll even impress the postal worker. I’ld love to share my video tutorial with you. Enjoy!
Here’s how the magic happens.

Three coordinating products you can earn for FREE! Can’t get too much better than that. The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set, Lily Pad dies and the Lily Pad Impressions Designer Series Paper can all be yours for free, with a qualifying purchase.
Can I take a moment first to say, I love the color combo on this card. Think outside the box and I’ll bet you will surprise yourself. I sure did with a combination of Pretty Peacock, Flirty Flamingo Whisper White and Garden Green. Those are perfect colors for my Lovely Lily Pad card.
Whoa, did you notice the background impression? Yep, it’s back again. The Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. Told ya, that’s one of my new favorites.
By embossing the Lovely Lily Pad image on Shimmery White cardstock, I was able to add a little watercoloring. Be sure to check out my video tutorial to learn how the Stamparatus made this quick and easy.
One of my favorite elements in the Lily Pad die set is that fabuluous border die. It’s the perfect size, easy to cut and makes such a statement. I just love it.
But wait, I almost forgot to tell you about one of the best features of the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set. Ready? It’s a revisible set. That means each stamp serves double duty. Want to see how that works? I filmed a video tutorial for you.
Here’s how the magic happens.

Can you believe it, we are already moving into the 1st full week of 2020! I’m kicking things off with my Bee Happy Sampler. It’s just too cute and what better message for the upcoming year.
As soon as I saw this bundle, I knew I would love giving it a play. My WOW Club Member, Connie, is having a party this week. Because Connie is an avid scapbooker, I wanted to design something she could use in that part of her crafting. Hence, the Bee Happy Sampler was born.
Stampin’ Up’s product coordination is the best. The Honey Bee bundle in the new Mini coordinates perfectly with the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper offered in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
In the second block, of my Bee Happy Sampler, I wanted to create a little bee hive scene. One of the best parts of creating samplers is that the blocks can also be used and adapted into cards. And did you notice the texture in the background. I created that with the new Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Love!!
Ok, those bees are just too beautiful. Because I spritz them with Champagne Shimmer Mist, they sparkle and shine.
To create the “sunshine” background, I used a sponge brayer loaded with Crushed Curry ink. That’s a quick and easy technique. The letters, cut with the dies from the Hand Lettered Prose set, were also spritzed. I love the sparkle.
Because I’m still recuperating from my recent nasty fall, I couldn’t film a video for my Bee Happy Sampler. But, I did peck away at the keyboard to give you a very detailed PDF. Hope you can enjoy this and create a Bee Happy Sampler of your very own.
