Are you ready to learn how to use and create with the Flowering Tulips bundle? I know, I know, the first time I looked at the die set, I must admit, I was a little confused. But after a play, I think I’ve got it figured out. The first card, a sweet thinking of you, shows off the dimension you can achieve with the tulip die set. Then of course I had to create a fancy fold.
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of using flowers in my card designs. “Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine to the soul.” – Luther Burbank I don’t know about you, but that statement really resonates with me. So much so, I wanted the first card to bring a smile to your face. Fresh, spring-like colors started things off.
I needed to figure out how the dies performed. Here’s the reference sheet I created. Hope it’s helpful for you as well. As you can see you can make three different profiles.
Because I used the Expressions in Ink DSP, I was able to add lots of detail and interest in my flowering tulips.
Don’t miss out on adding the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder to your stash. It will be retiring soon and is on sale for $6. That’s a steal!!
But don’t worry, the Polished Pink ribbon, Brass Butterflies and Iridescent Rhinestones are all carrying over to the new Annual Catalog.
By the way, did you know that Mother’s Day is right around the corner? That’s right, May 8th will be here before we know it. One thing my Mom looks forward to everyday is taking a short walk and enjoying her flowers. Needless to say, I knew her card had to include a floral bouquet. Not only that, she loves to display her cards, so a fancy fold it is.
This tower fold gave me an opportunity to check those two criteria off my list. My color combination was inspired by the fields of tulips in the Flowering Fields DSP.
With just a few easy score and cut lines, voila, you have a tower fancy fold. There is even enough real estate on the back for a panel where you can add your heartfelt thoughts.
By adding a little Wink of Stella to my tulips, I was able to achieve not only a bit of sparkle, but another shade to add to add even more interest.
By adding the Flowering Tulips bundle to your next order, you can create both of these cards and so much more. I would very much appreciate you shopping my online store and using my current host code, GUZWJXNU. When you place a minimum $50 order, I’ll send you this month’s customer thank you gift, a set of Blending Brushes ($12 value).
Ready to learn how to create these? I hope you enjoy my FREE video tutorial.

Please join me for my Dahlia Days free card making class. The bundle is featured in the January-June Mini Catalog and can be found on page 35.
The Dahlia Days bundle has a 13-piece red rubber stamp set with a 12-piece coordinating die set. Did you know you save 10% when you order the bundle versus individual components? The first card in our class features the large background die.
How dramatic is that? Because I created a window frame in the Heart & Home DSP, the large die cut really shines. The beautiful Misty Moonlight will be retiring soon. So if you need the cardstock, ink refill or blends, be sure to order them quick.
Don’t you just love all the detail in the images? I’ve stamped the leaves in Just Jade, another retiring color, and given them a little “twist” for some texture.
Both the lovely Just Jade ribbon and the sweet Bumblebee Trinkets will be leaving us. But, they are both on sale at a great savings.
Ready to see the double pop-up fancy fold? This time, I’ve switched colors and gone to Magenta Madness. Yep, that’s right, color #3 retiring.
I remember when the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog came out and the Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP couldn’t stay on the shelf. Well, it’s about to retire and I think you might want to add a pack or two to your stash before it’s gone for good.
The Dahlia Days bundle really shines on this card. I’ve used oodles of the images and die cuts to dress up the card front.
For my bling, I’ve added a few Iridescent Rhinestones and a few pieces of the Expressions in Ink Ephemera. The ephemera is retiring as well and at a great value.
Because there is lots of real estate on the back of the pop-up, you can add a panel for a sentiment and handwritten message.
A free card making class isn’t complete until you’ve seen my video tutorial. Enjoy!!

How about a free kit? Place a minimum $35 order in my online store, by Wednesday, 3/16/22, 10 am (CST), use the host code PXSSBR7A, and I will send you a pre-cut kit for my Easter fancy fold. The card features the Easter Friends stamp set along with the Honeybee Home Bundle.
The Pansy Petals DSP creates the softest, most springlike color palette. The Fresh Freesia gingham started my mojo on this one.
Break out your Stampin’ Blends for fun and very easy coloring on this super easy, but very dramatic Easter fancy fold.
Do you love to give display cards? If so, this is the one for you. I like sending these to my parents. They appreciate the “happy mail” and love to display them for days.
Because the Easter Friends set has a mix of super cute images and sentiments, your Easter card making will be a pleasure.
I’ve used the largest die in the Ornate Layers die set for my focal point. By blending both Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya, you can achieve a soft background to build the scene.
How cute is that little bunny with the Fresh Freesia florals? A little bouquet, for the bunny, is the perfect little touch. One of the best parts about receiving a pre-cut kit from me, is that you also have a FREE video tutorial to follow along the way.

My Dad asked that I create a thank you card for some special people. That’s when I was inspired to create this heartfelt vintage thanks. The color palette of Highland Heather and Blushing Bride with a hint of Mint Macaron and Pool Party is so soft and soothing.
By using the large die in the Floral Heart die set I was able to create a lovely focal image. If you need more inspiration with this die set, check out this post. One of my favorite things to do is to create my own flowers for my projects.
For today’s Heartfelt Vintage Thanks, I’ve used a collection of punches to shape the images and create this flower.
If you love the Hand-Penned DSP, be sure to stock up when the retirement list is published in April. Papers and inks sell out super quick.
Be sure to watch to the end of my video tutorial where I will share a mailing tip for a dimensional card.
In the beautiful Encircled in Friendship stamp set there is an alternate sentiment for the inside of the card. Because I created this card for Dad for a specific reason and group of people, I created my own sentiment. By using the die in the Encircled in Beauty die set, I’ve added that to the card.
Here’s how the magic happens.
Card Base – Highland Heather CS – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored @ 5 1/2″

Everyone that places an order with me during March 2022, will have their name placed on my prize drawing. I’m giving away two of the Calming Camellia stamp sets. Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time, Create Something Beautiful!
Discover the depths of the ocean – and your artistic abilities – with the Waves of the Ocean Collection. With blue hues, sparkles and swirls, and paper with imagery of hand-poured paint, you’ll be swimming in a sea of inspiration! Craft with the coastal collection for projects that will make a splash.
Because I’ve used almost every single element in the Waves of Inspiration Bundle, you’ll get a good feel for what you can create with this collection. That bundle will carry over to the upcoming new Annual Catalog. So you’ll have lots of time to play. We will start things off on the simpler side and work our way up to the fancy fold.
By embossing my Coastal Cabana mat with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder, I was able to add lots of “wave” texture for the base of the card.
In the Waves of the Ocean Collection you’ll find wave details dies. To get the background, I’ve used the large stamp and added both Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point ink to the image for a two-tone effect.
Some simple stamping on they inside and voila, you’re done. Ready for card #2? This one highlights the beautiful Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper and little water color wash technique.
The Granny Apple Green really makes with card pop. Break out your water painters and let your inner artist emerge.
By wrapping a little linen thread around the posts, I was able to add a little more realistic look to our pelican’s perch.
When working with he Waves of the Ocean Collection, I actually created today’s fancy fold first. The wave dies made creating my “bridge” super easy.
The Blue Foils in the Waves of the Ocean Collection, come in a 12″ x 12″ format. There are 6 sheets in the pack, two each of 3 colors, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Silver.
The scoring on this one is super easy and can be done with either your Simply Scored Tool or Paper Trimmer.
The two sentiment dies in this set are very versatile. I can see me using them in lots of cards to come. They both have little ribbon slots, perfect for taking your card to the next level. There’s even a spot on the back of the card for your handwritten note.
Hope you join me for the full video tutorial. Be sure to shop my online store for your Waves of the Ocean Collection during the month of March. Everyone that orders from me during March 2022, will have their name placed on my prize wheel. Two lucky winners will receive a Calming Camellia stamp set.

So happy to see you stopped by today. Flip that Spring Mini open to page 54 and take a peak at the Ranunculus Romance bundle and the pretty samples created with it. The images in this set definitely lend themselves to creating one-sheet wonders.
The Ranunculus Romance Bundle is a 10-piece red-rubber stamp set with an 8-piece coordinating die set. It’s the perfect set for thank you, sympathy, thinking of you and so much more.
One of things I love to do is to create lots of texture and interest in my card making. Because I embossed my designer series paper mat with the Ornate Floral embossing folder, I’ve done just that.
I’m lovin’ the Watercolor Shapes stamp set so much I’ve used it on my focal image. It served two purposes on this card. One, I was able to achieve a watercolor wash look and two, I didn’t need to color the floral image. That made creating multiples super easy.
Be sure to check out my video tutorial. There you’ll see a sneak peak of the one-sheet wonder I created with the Ranunculus Romance set. Be sure to cast your vote in the comments.
