I’m excited to share my Blessed Encouragement Sampler with you guys today. One of my lovely students will be hosting her party this week. My club members give me some input on the project they would like me to design for their special night. This month, I was challenged to create a project with these parameters: “Something to celebrate a dream, a wish, a milestone in my life that I can add to a scrapbook page. Elements to go on a page to celebrate this time in life and all the hard milestones in the last few years. Encouragement for the future.” With that, I started with her favorite color palette and created the Blessed Encouragement Sampler.
If you guys visit here often, you know I LOVE texture and layers. Our fabulous embossing folders and dies made that easy with this design. You’ve got to have the Tin Tile and Country Florals embossing folders in your stash of art supplies. They are fabulous! Then, by rubbing on a little Petal Pink ink, over the embossed image, it really made all that texture pop off the page.
Sometimes, as women, we forget how much we matter. I wanted Connie to know that in a special way. So, I included that message in the 1st block of her sampler. That very important “You Matter” is from the Around the Corner set. And, did you know that butterflies are a deep and powerful representation of life? Incorporating that symbol in the first block of the sampler was extremely important.
In the second block, I thought I would give a little encouragement with the sentiment from Ribbon of Courage. So sad that set will retire. It can be found on page 114 of the current catalog. But hurry, it will be gone by June 4th. You won’t want to miss it.
We all need to seize the moment and the sentiment in the third block of my Blessed Encouragement Sampler reminds us of that very important message. This one too, comes from the Ribbon of Courage set. See, I told you that you should scoop up this set.
Last, but certainly not least, we could all use some beautiful flowers in our lives. Nature is so inspiring. Flowers symbolize things like beauty, hope, patience and joyfulness, just to name a few. The flowers in this block are from a brand spankin’ new set. The Floral Essence set will be offered in a bundle format. Don’t we all love punches? Yes we do! And of course I know you’re asking, where does that beautiful “Blessed” come from. Yep, that’s another new set, To a Wild Rose. It’s becoming one of my favs. Those two will be available beginning June 4, 2019. Be sure to request your new catalog here.
I was happy to create a video tutorial so that you can replicate this one. Sit back and enjoy! Please let me know if you create my Blessed Encouragement Sampler for someone special in your life. It would make me very happy!!

Another gorgeous piece, Susan! You are very creative. I would love to make one for a friend whose birthday is this month. I’ll need to make hers purple and will have to come up with substitutes for the new products. I hope I can work on this on Saturday. Thanks for generously sharing all the details. May the Lord richly bless you for your kindness.
Elaine I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a lovely and thoughtful comment. Hope you get to create one. I know your dear friend will love it.
This is absolutely stunning. You are amazing. So much went into this project and I’m so sure anyone that gets one will be so blessed.
I did want to ask you where you got your curvy tweezers and small glue container. It’s simply adorable.
Silvia, thank you very much for your lovely comment. My tweezers are a little on the old side. I’ve had them forever and I think I got them at Michael’s. I get the small glue bottles on Amazon. They are called Darice Fine Tip Glue Bottles. They come four to a package. Have a great day.
What a fantastic tutorial! Absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much.
